Corsets should always be laced from the bottom to the top, allowing for you to tighten the laces gradually. Bustiers are generally very form fitting and can be worn as both lingerie or evening wear. Most bustiers are sleeveless but some may have a shoulder strap and are either secured by a button or hook and eye closure. Bustiers are not made to hold you in or reduce your waist size. Some may have light-bonding, as mentioned before, that will help give you the added shape you are wanting. Because of their ability to stretch, bustiers are often favored since you can easily put them on and go. They are usually made of nicer fabrics such as satin, silk and lace.
